Madrid, Solo travel
I traveled Madrid solo this last January, I can only recommend it. Theres lots of low budget activities and I always felt safe. I also booked a cooking class to learn some classic Spanish dishes, which was wonderful. I stayed near Puerto del Sol for 30 euros a night. Nearly everything is easy to reach by foot.
