Hello to all of the wonderful women out there! My name is Joanna. I come from Poland, but I live, study and work in northern Norway - currently in Narvik, but will move to Tromsø in a couple of months. I study norwegian language. I have a degree in political science and worked testing video games for a while. I've travelled all over Europe including Albania, Switzerland, Greece, Italy or France. I also hiked a lot in polish and slovakian mountain ranges. I adore meeting new people and I'm a talkative and curious person. I have a lot of stories and observations to share. I love hiking, being out in nature, video games, alternative music and good restaurants. I love to travel and can find something fascinating in every place. I live in student housing where I can host one person at a time for a short amount of time.

Hi everyone, I an Trine, an extrovert and easygoing Norwegian lady in my late 50s. I partly live in Oslo and partly in a small coastal hamlet 1,5 hrs from Oslo. I like to get to know new people and I am passionate about languages. So far I speak fluent Norwegian (native speaker), English and German, intermediate French and basic Spanish. I also try to learn a few other languages. I work full time, so I am only available for meet-ups after work or those week-ends I am in Oslo.

Like everything in Norway, Oslo is pretty calm city, with not a lot of activities especially on winter's time, but it feels very comfortable and safe for female solo traveler. But be prepared for extreme weather and prices:)

This was the best trip I’ve ever done! I went to Lofoten with zero expectations and had nothing planned which was the best desicion. Every day was an adventure. I was there at the beggining of the off season so it wasn’t full of tourists. The budes very running very sporadicly but usually accordning to the time schedule. I also hitch hiked and stayed with people from couchsurfing. Felt very safe throughout the whole trip.
