About me

Hey I'm Anna and I really really love being active in nature! My biggest love is cycling and racing, but I also have a passion for hiking/running/camping- anything that makes my hair messy and my brain happy:) When I'm not doing any of that I'm a Biology student near London, and I spend a lot of my summers in the Czech Republic. My dream destination is anywhere with mountains <3

About Me

New here! I am a 32 year old trilingual who lives in the UK (Kettering-Burton Latimer). I've been living here for about two years now and I'm a queer from İzmir. I'm mainly looking for meetups or advice for places in the UK. I'd love to meet someone with similar interests and have a chat over dinner or lunch or a drink :) The town I currently live in isn't the most touristy place, but if you ever happen to pass Burton Latimer, we can meet up and have a chat! I like walking through the cemetery and into the wind turbine farm after that. And there is a beautiful pub nearby for some food and drinks. I like traveling solo. I went to Nottingham already to see the city of caves and I have more adventures that I planned for UK!

Is United Kingdom worth visiting?

4.6 /5

Based on 254 experiences

London, Solo travel

London is a super fun city! This was my first solo travelling experience and I would really recommend this city if u are thinking of a place where to go alone for the first time. My advice is: choose a hotel/hostel in the center (I stayed at Wombat’s city hostel and it was super cute), use the bus (much cheaper and easier to understand) to get around, don’t go at night in places u haven’t visited during the day

Birmingham, Family travel

I visited Birmingham with my mom and baby, and while it felt pretty safe overall, I was honestly underwhelmed. There were a lot of homeless people around, and the city felt very dirty, especially on the weekends. Airbnb rentals were surprisingly expensive, and while the food wasn’t bad, it was pretty average and not as affordable as I expected. The tourist attractions and historic sites were free, which was nice, but they didn’t really stand out. For 9 days, we spent around £2000, and it just didn’t feel worth it. I’ve never felt this unimpressed by a city before.
