Very safe to catch public transport, walk around on a night time and no real threat of anything. Of course there’s low level crime like anywhere but it’s not something you see every day or on the streets

It really depends on the aerea so it’s quite difficult to judge, that said, crimes can happen anywhere no matter how safe you are being. I personally never experienced getting robbed but I hear lots of stories from friends where the time and the place didn’t matter. My advice for a safe night out is to be aware beforehand where are you in London, where is nearest tube station to night club or bar, consider if you can afford an uber before going out in certain places.

Tower Hamlets can have a bit of a reputation, but in my experience, it feels generally safe. I've lived here for a while and nothing's ever happened to me. Two of my flatmates were pickpocketed on the tube, but that can happen anywhere in London. Like any big city, it's important to stay aware, especially at night or on public transport.

It is quite safe in general, but it's good to be cautious after dark! Dundonians are quite friendly and willing to help at all times, giving you a nice sense of security. If you feel unsafe at any time CONTACT EMERGENCY SERVICES, they are quite quick to respond as well:)

It is one of the safest cities I've ever been in. I often go on a walk when it's dark, and never once have I felt threatened. Of course, you need to always be cautious because of the odds. But, it is truly super safe.

Areas vary but I've lived here all my life and I do majority of the time feel safe, it helps that it's very busy, and I always make sure to live close enough to a train station, like 10 minutes if that. There's so much public transport so different ways to get around and there's ways people around. Of course there's always Uber or bolt when needed but I do try where possible to use public transport even if it's late, just keep an eye on times depending on what you're taking but tubes and buses mostly run all night.

Brighton is quite safe during the day if you are in the central area where there are a lot of people. I feel completely safe when I’m with my friends and during the day. However, I would not recommend you to be outside by yourself at night. Before coming to Brighton, research area you are going to be staying at so you know how careful you should be.

It is a safe city in general, please avoid walking at night in places with few people or that you don't know, and as in all big cities you have to be careful with pickpockets. People are generally friendly and happy to help travelers.
Posted: April 20, 2025Norwich is very safe, we occasionally hear of house break ins or knife crime, but this is sporadic and in run down areas. My main concern is young men if on a night out who can be slightly predatorial in the wrong clubs but around clubs there is a strong police presence.

Glasgow has many weird and wonderful people. The streets at night, especially the weekend, can be a big wild, with many drunk people roaming around. No one will cause trouble with you, as long as you don't start it. It can be roudy and loud, bug generally the people of Glasgow look out for eachother

My experience in London was quite nice. I honestly suggest staying more than 2 days because I felt like i didn't have enough time to see things. I just started traveling, so I don't know how to plan a trip, but I guess I'm gonna get used to this

Loved going back to London after a few years! We couldn't get any tickets to the HP studios so we got a tour of the city that brought us to some filming locations which was a nice alternative while visiting! We visited some pretty touristy places for the rest of the trip but it was nice! Still quite expensive but it's London so we knew what to expect :)
