I am fairly new to the city of Dundee so I can’t say for sure but I would just take all normal precautions. Protect your phone and don’t put it in your back pocket when walking anywhere in the United Kingdom

Dundee is a very safe city located as a gateway to the Scottish highlands. Historically it has had mostly drug related issues but this has improved tremendously in the past years. It is small but has everything you need and safety!
Posted: December 26, 2024It’s quite safe. the crowd is fairly mixed with a large population of students in the city centre. you have very good stores and if you’re into spending less and sustainability, you’ve got plenty of options to dive into. You’ve got locations ranging from community fridges to the most expensive small dishes big plates restaurants in a street. It’s a great city for art, nature and design enthusiasts. Bus connections are splendid.

Hey! I’m originally a New Yorker, and have been living abroad in the UK for 5 years now. I have no plans to return home and want to see as much of the world as possible. I currently work in Urban Design and Landscape Architecture as a PhD researcher. Because of this I love to see new places, especially nature and outdoor adventures. I’m always up for anything to do with permaculture, farm stays, delicious food and good times with new friends.
