based on 3 experiences from female travelers
I felt very safe and I stayed on the botanical backpackers hostel which is a female only hostel, very clean and organized. I spend St Patrick’s day in Belfast and it was amazing, there was lots of people but it wasn’t as crowded as other parts of Ireland.
Posted: May 28, 2024I traveled alone to Northern Ireland. I got off the ferry and a nice taxi driver offered to take me around the areas of The Trouble. It was worth it. I saw all the murals and the Peace Wall, the huge cranes that built the Titanic and its sister ships, the Europa hotel, which was constantly bombed. I stayed at a B&B in Portrush. Beautiful place and the friendliest people in the world.
Posted: April 15, 2023I had a short holiday (2 days) in Northern Ireland last year and it was amazing. I spent my time around Port Stewart and the Giant's Causeway. The scenery was beautiful. An amazing beach in Port Stewart and friendly people.
