Is Bath safe for solo female travelers?

Bath, is very safe for solo female travelers. Common precautions should be taken, such as staying alert in crowded areas for pickpockets and not walking alone late at night in quiet areas. However, incidents are rare and most visitors have enjoyable and incident-free stays. The city is well policed, well lit, and many public spots have CCTV surveillance. Bath is generally considered one of UK's safest cities.

Not much to do, but defintly worth seeing. I went there for one day and the city was AMAZING!!! Especially the Jane Austen museum, which is one of the best museums I've ever seen. I also love the atmosphere there💕💕. I felt very safe and I recommend going there for a day trip.

Solo travel

I went there for a solitary trip on my birthday and I really enjoyed it. If you are a fan of "Bridgerton", there are many places associated with this series there! The Holburne Museum (Lady Danbury's house), Abbey Deli (the milliner in the series), Pulteney Bridge, Bath Cathedral, Roman baths. Besides, I spent a lot of time walking because the city is beautiful. I definitely recommend a visit to Mrs Potts Chocolate House. I was there for only 24 hours, but I managed to see and do a lot, I really enjoyed it and I will definitely return there at some point.

Bath is a very safe city - walkable and people are friendly. There are lots of tourists and it is a popular place to visit. I feel safe at night too but I don’t walk around on my own in the dark as a rule anywhere. I’ve never felt unsafe.

Bath is a fairly small and monetised city. Its not the kind of place where you would have much to worry about although I have heard stories of stabbings and other. I do think though, that news travel fast in the city and my best guess is the general crime rates are low in comparison to other places.

Overall the town is really safe, in my experience coming home from nights out I haven’t had any trouble. The public transport is great the bus drivers are generally friendly. It’s an easy access to the police station in case you do have any problems

About me

Hi, my name is Tallulah, I’m 23 and hoping to start some solo travel soon. (Trying to not feel so scared to do it!) I love being outside, going for walks, swimming, and exploring new places. I’m not able to host anybody right now but message me if you want to meet up in Bath or would like recommendations about the UK, particularly the South West!
