Bath is a fairly small and monetised city. Its not the kind of place where you would have much to worry about although I have heard stories of stabbings and other. I do think though, that news travel fast in the city and my best guess is the general crime rates are low in comparison to other places.
Posted: December 30, 2024Overall the town is really safe, in my experience coming home from nights out I haven’t had any trouble. The public transport is great the bus drivers are generally friendly. It’s an easy access to the police station in case you do have any problems
Posted: December 25, 2024I've lived here for nearly ten years and nothing bad has ever happened to me personally. I would say it's generally safe apart from a bit of mental health and addiction on the streets, drunken behaviour, and gang and knife culture among the teens sadly.
Posted: March 30, 2024I went there for a solitary trip on my birthday and I really enjoyed it. If you are a fan of "Bridgerton", there are many places associated with this series there! The Holburne Museum (Lady Danbury's house), Abbey Deli (the milliner in the series), Pulteney Bridge, Bath Cathedral, Roman baths. Besides, I spent a lot of time walking because the city is beautiful. I definitely recommend a visit to Mrs Potts Chocolate House. I was there for only 24 hours, but I managed to see and do a lot, I really enjoyed it and I will definitely return there at some point.
