Trieste is a small and fairly quiet city. It has many historical places, a nice center and many residential areas. Trieste It is a city close to the border and has always been multicultural. In this historical period it is subject to flows of migratory routes and therefore mainly in the area near the station it is full of immigrants seeking asylum but they are mainly all together in one point and do not disturb. However, in the evening there are police cars that drive around the city to ensure safety.
Posted: January 9, 2025I think Triest is a very safe place, because most of the population here are old people. I often walk alone after dark or waiting alone for a bus, but i’ve never been scared of anything. It’s very rare to happen something dangerous.

Trieste is a small city between the sea and the mountains where everyone knows everyone. For this reason, I consider it a safe city, the transport works well, and it is a clean and quiet city (it has Austrian origins). We have often been considered the quietest city to live in all of Italy.
Posted: December 24, 2024Trieste is a pretty safe city. It is small, cozy and quiet so rarely you will hear about serious crimes. The most unfortunate thing happened to me was when my umbrella was stolen during the rainy season:)

I have been living here for two years as a student and I must say that overall I felt very safe. Never experienced any catcall even. I live far from the city centre but I have always felt safe walking home alone in the dark.

Trieste is really a safe city, you can walk in the late evening alone, without problems; of course, you have to avoid some area in the night, as everywhere. In the last time newspaper are writing about some young groups who are moving in some area for small thefts and drug dealing. But if you walk in the centre, any problem.

In my opinion Trieste is a very safe city, it’s mostly populated by older people or uni student; of course some aerea for example near the train station are not the best areas at night but still not dangerous.
Posted: March 10, 2024I didn't feel safe, a man touched me while I was walking with my friends. The food was fine, but it was expensive. In the city there wasn't a lot of interesting things to do...
Posted: December 25, 2024We were group of 10 and we had one amazing Easter in Trieste. We stayed in a bnb up on the hill and it was one hell of a night. The train ride from bologna to Trieste was lit af. I think everyone should visit Trieste

Hi ☀️ I am an Airbnb host in Trieste in addition to dealing with women's football and marketing. I am a big supporter of women, I have traveled alone and lived abroad alone several times. I like the sea, the sun, coffee, pizza and wine 🥰 I was born in Trieste but I have Greek origins. I would like to improve my English as unfortunately I have used it little in recent years.
