It's mostly safe, except for stealing, which unfortunately is very common, mostly related to scooters and cars. A part from this, Turin is a very safe city, I'd really recommend it for young girls as well to visit
Posted: July 24, 2025Turin is safe. Just always keep an eye on your belongings and you should be fine. As a women, you probably will experience catcalling. The regions Barriera di Milano and Aurora should be avoided. Turin is pretty clean for an italian city.
Posted: July 23, 2025Strange drinkers and drug addicts everywhere, there are some pretty swag zones but overall I would go out at night. In the night I ended up in a bus (around 00:00) and I was the only woman in the bus, with people that weren’t sober at all, was creepy
Posted: July 23, 2025It always depend on the area you are walking through, anche the time ad night. If you always stay in the historic area there always are people who are ready to help, it’s not dangerous, it’s possible to get robbed but it’s a mahout city and it’s like everywhere alse. It’s just important to not get lost and go outside of the centre.
Posted: June 17, 2025Turin is a relatively safe city. As long as you are careful and aware you will be fine. At night you should keep your eyes open more than in the day. Public transport is more dangerous at night but still safe (a lot of my female friends use it even late at night). Generally speaking I would define Turin a safe city.
Posted: June 17, 2025i don’t like it at all but sometimes it’s okay to stay there because i live there but i would not reccomend at all, sometimes when i walk alone in the dark it’s scary and i don’t feel safe at all, the same for the trains

I visited Turin in April for my dad’s birthday, beforehand I had asked here in local chat about places to see and restaurants to eat at and the recommendations were on point, we had an amazing time! We felt very safe, everyone was very nice.
Posted: May 25, 2025Turin is worth a visit for a the weekend and also has some good places for food. You can easily get around by foot as the main attractions are all in the center. Better to buy the entry tickets for museuns in advance as some exhibitions are easily sold out. Also make reservations for restaurants, especially if you do not travel alone as most tables are booked in advance.
