Pretty safe city in almost all areas. Might get cat called here and there, but usually nothing more than that and only in non central areas. Pay attention to pick pocketers especially in tourist places and public transport!
Posted: April 3, 2025You must be pretty careful when in Rome, it’s not a bad city you can enjoy evenings and have great time but it’s important to be careful especially to your personal belongings when walking around Rome or when you’re in the metro or bus!

As long as you walk around confidently and don’t make too much attention toward yourself then you will be fine but always keep an eye out for your belongings or on anyone you think is suspicious. Definitely walk with someone at night if you are unfamiliar with the area

I mean, it’s a big city, you cannot expect it to be 100% safe. But for the most part, at daytime you don’t really risk anything. What I would suggest is that if you want to go out at night be sure not to be alone, just for safety.

There are a lot of pickpockets, especially at termini, be safe there and just keep your eyes on your purse But I think that’s it Guys here are aware about boundaries and personal space, so usually if they see that you’re not interested, they will leave you alone

Important to stay aware even if is a safe city, you can go anywhere but around Termini is full of strange people that wants trouble and you must pay attention to your items in the metro and at yourself in the bus
Posted: March 16, 2025It was so crowded but not in a bad way, just full of tourists and the vibes were amazing. As you can see lots of people, you can not feel alone and in danger. The restaurants and public transportation was great and I must recommend you to buy the tickets in advance.
Posted: March 16, 2025Rome is a big city so it is (of course) not the safest place, but with the right worry and the right precautions nothing bad is going to happen, where i live i never experienced anything other than regular whistles and unwanted compliments, the key is to know where to go especially at night, there are a couple places where the nightlife never dies down even at the most insane hours so there are always a lot of people near your area and you will be safe

You should be very careful in public place with your phone and pockets. It’s so common to be rubbed during the day/night in a crowded place. So many tourists lost their wallets and phone. In generally it’s really nice and safe city, peace are friendly and welcoming
Posted: March 12, 2025Depends a lot, really a lot, from the area. Some neighbourhoods are quite safe, others can be dangerous. There can be pickpocketing and occasional groping on public transport, but I use it daily and haven’t got a problem in a long time. In touristy areas there are a lot of scammers, but if you avoid them you are good. The central area in the day is super safe, at night it’s better if you know where you are going. Remember that people in stores and cafes are usually really nice if you need help.

Italy
travelling solo in Rome felt safer than other large cities such as Milan or Naples. As long as you are aware of pick-pockets you shouldn’t face any problems, besides the usual cat-calling that you experience everywhere.
Posted: March 31, 2025Is it safe? Yes, but watch out for pickpockets in crowded areas, scams (like “free” bracelets), and be cautious at night, especially around Termini Station. Things to do •Colosseum & Roman Forum – Ancient history must-see. •Vatican City – St. Peter’s, Sistine Chapel, Vatican Museums. •Trevi Fountain – Toss a coin for good luck. •Pantheon – Iconic Roman temple. •Piazza Navona – Lively square with fountains. •Trastevere – Charming streets & nightlife. •Villa Borghese – Beautiful park & gallery.
