During the day it's usually a safe city, but be careful at the train station, there i was harassed a few times and there are Always weird people around that zone. I would not recommend going out in Trento alone during the night.

I lived here all my life, Trento is a small city and I would say it is pretty safe, of course the nearby of the train station after dark isn’t the safest place to walk through alone but being small is easy to reach safest places pretty fast. The unsettling feeling in Trento is that the movida in the night isnt very active so you feel in danger beacuse alone but what you percieve is less than what the real harm could be.

I live in Trento about 5 months. It’s a quiet and peaceful city. One day I left my laptop on the cafe table during a very busy time of the morning. I found out that my laptop is missing only 1 hour later and came back to the cafe. Guess what, my laptop was still on the same table. When traveling I used to arrive in Trenton late night or early mornings after flights and never had any problems walking on the streets at late night or using transportation here.

Trento is a very calm city. People are quote nice and I never felt in danger. It is a small city so also 11 year old kids go alone around the city centre. People are available and kind. There are lots of parks and cute locals which are totally secure.

Trento is a small city closed to the mountains, the university had brought a lot of young people in the city and this helped to make it safer! Also it’s a quiet city, there are few clubs, and bars not that crowded. You can find a lot of tourists from Austria or Germany.

Trento is a cute town, I spent a week here in Spring through Erasmus and had a lovely time. There are great museums and archaeological sites, a castle and parks. After meeting some international friends we did a day trip to lago di garda and another to Verona.
