Messina is a very large city, there is not much crime and you can walk around safely, although I advise you to always keep your eyes open. It is a quite peaceful place and I recommend visiting it.
Posted: December 28, 2024Messina is quite a peaceful, managable and not pricey in Sicily. I can see that people in here are so friendly, joyful and very supportive. I have been here for 2 years but all of my experiences are all good!

Work&Travel in Messina. Animal care in the hills of Messina was amazing! Had a small room with a kitchen. The hosts made everyday lunch for me too. Never ate soooo good in my life before! Would do it every time again!
