Discovering Hamburg for the first time. It is an atypical city, very interesting with several aspects. I really enjoyed walking along the river and taking the public boat that allows you to discover the city. The architecture of the city as well as its monuments and churches are magnificent. I recommend spending at least 2 days there and if you are lucky with beautiful sunshine. Concerning the food, you absolutely have to try a fish sandwich on the port. On the other hand, it is a city that can be dangerous for a girl alone. Especially the area next to the station.

Couple travel experience

Hamburg is safe, nice and beautiful! I loved to walk around in the summer evening without any problems or anyone bothering, the food is nice and there are many places to visit. My favorite places were the streets with Portuguese restaurants, specially the cafe Crystal, where I used to have my breakfast. I would definitely go again.

Hamburg is a very safe city. I don’t feel uncomfortable at any time. It’s safe to walk alone in the dark and I don’t worry about getting raped or robbed. It’s also safe to use public transportation. The are not many homeless people. If you should see homeless people they are not aggressive

It’s a lovely and openminded City. People are pretty nice and helpful. You can always ask for help or water in a restaurant, of course sometimes people don’t have a good day but that’s not because of the city. The street are often lighted and crowded.

About me

I like to walk through cities and love to discover them. I'm interested in the architecture and the old and typical of a country... I also like to just enjoy the peace and quiet, sit in a park or by the water and sometimes I want to try things that are full of action, it could be a turbo slide or something completely new and crazy... I am also interested in natural cosmetics and healthy eating, but chocolate is a must every day...

About me

Hi I’m Hanna! I would describe myself as a very open minded person, who loves to become a little bit better everyday and learn from other people’s experiences. I always try to have a balance between stability & change, extroversion & introversion. Hamburg is my city of choice but whenever I have the chance I go out seeking discomfort/adventures. I’m really into meditation & Yoga (even if I’m not “advanced” in it) I also journal every other day and like to have meaningful conversations with friends. Overcoming fears & obstacles of the past is a big thing for me. Also after some years of working I'm now going back to school to catch up on my A-levels to study afterwards. Since talking is easier than texting, let’s just check if we get along well :)
