Like any location, it's always important to use common sense and take precautions, especially when walking alone at night or in less busy areas. Solo travel experience

Was on a multiple day bicycling tour through Germany. Spent one whole day in Erfurt. Very pretty city and also (without planning) was there during the happening of a music festival. No entry fees which I absolutely loved and very good music and vibes. People dancing everywhere and also nice decorations. That trip made Erfurt one of my favorite cities in Germany.

Is Erfurt safe for women?

The german city Erfurt is a place where a lot of students are and in the student groups you feel pretty safe. As a woman obviously you always are going to think about possibilities that could happen to you just to protect yourself but specifically in the city we don’t have these thoughts.

Erfurt is a small German City. Besides the „normal“ amount of harrasment which is experienced by almost every woman everywhere, there is nothing to be worried about! At day time there really is nothing to be worried about. At night time you can easily go clubbing or get drinks in bars. The areas which are far from the city Center (Rieth, Wiesenhügel) may be a little more dangerous but I wouldn’t recommend staying in these areas anyhow.

About Me

Heyho I’m a 20 years old lovely young woman, who’d like to discover the great wide world. But because money determines the world, I’ve to think more little at first. Therefore, Europe with its wonderful charm has got my attention. My twin sister and I try our best to experience a memorable, challenging (but in a good way) journey, before we’ve to face our medical studies. And who knows, perhaps You’re gonna be a part of it. :)
