Falmouth is an amazing place, I am a Falmouth student and hikes, swimming and cycling here is the best. Everyone is friendly to you and especially in the summer when is gets busy. The beach's are the best I have ever seen especially on a sunny day, the water is blue and amazing to snorkel and dive. Hiking and cycling here has always been stress free for me here. Lovely places to eat and shops. I feel pretty safe here and have done a 4am hike alone in the dark on a public footpath. You do get the odd crazy man here which I do avoid, but I have only seen them in the high street or bus.

Solo travel

In Falmouth where I stayed with a friend , I enjoyed the bipolar weather of what Cornwall has to the other. The extreme rain to the sun. When one goes to Falmouth seafood is great. One memorable seafood was the crabs sandwich of pier cafe , cod and chips from the gem near spoons on a little side ally. Drinks and books at beerwolf is a must. A good hike is Falmouth to meanporth

I have done a 4am hike in the dark alone and have felt safe, but you still have the thoughts at the back of your head. Not a lot of places are lit up, but I had a head torch. Lots of students like me, everyone I have met is friendly.
