Is England safe for solo female travelers?

England, inclusive of its larger cities like London, Bath, and Manchester, is generally safe for solo female travelers. The law enforcement is reliable and there are clear systems in place to promote safety. Instances of crime are relatively low and it's easy to navigate with a variety of safe public and private transportation options. Still, like anywhere, it is important to stay vigilant, especially in quieter areas or when traveling late at night. Also, it's advisable to keep your belongings close to avoid pickpockets in crowded areas.

Travel itinerary: 3 days: London 2 days: Oxford 3 days: Cotswolds 2 days: Liverpool Safety: I felt safe even walking at night. Recommendations: London is a very pedestrian-friendly city, and most of the iconic landmarks are located right next to each other.

How safe is England for women?

England generally is a safe country, but like anywhere has dodgy areas. it's best to stay in lit up areas at night and to be vigilant on nights out in cities. When in large cities, phone and petty thefts can happen, so be sure to stay aware of your surroundings and hold on to your belongings (look out for people on bikes on the pavements).

There are some areas which are lovely and definitely worth seeing but some areas you should definitely avoid due too gang crime, drugs and violence. Sadly knife crime is rising in England but it’s definitely not all bad. We have some of the most beautiful country side and views. Victorian style villages and so much more too offer!
