I went to Brighton alone and I can say that I felt quite safe there. There are many bright lights at night, from the station to the beach. North Laine was my favorite area, there are many cool shops there. I would also recommend the restaurant "We love falafel", absolutely amazing food.

Brighton is completely full of contrasts ! I live in an area that's completely safe during the day but becomes a bit dodgy at night. And it might be the safest place for the LGBTQIA+ community in England but there are still some problems of harassment and assaut, so whatever you're doing and who ever you might be I'd advise to just be a little bit cautious, and you'll have fun anyway ! (Although dont eat food in the streets or on the beach, the seagulls are vicious)
