Is Black Forest Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

I love the Black Forest. The nature is really beautiful, there aren’t dangerous animals, you can forage, the weather is great compared to other parts of Germany, and people are typically nice. In rural areas you find people who dislike foreigners and there is some racism, which can be disheartening. But that’s the case in many places, especially Europe. Overall it’s lovely.
