Hey, My name is Imane (imen) and I am a languages student at my last year of uni. I love travelling and exploring new cities, when travelling I don’t like to be a “tourist” I like to be like a local and get to get into the culture as much as I can. I'm interested in swimming, van life, trekking, surfing, solo travel, sightseeing, skiing, photography, languages, nightlife, live music, nature, health, food & cuisine, education, events & social, dancing, diving, cycling, culture, cinema, camping, caving, books, animals (especially cats 🐾) and backpacking

We stopped within walking distance of the train station in La Spezia. First, we took a stroll around Riomaggiore, then we took a train to Manarola where we participated in a lesson on making pesto at Nessun Dorma. From there, we took a train to Corniglia, which is the only town not located at sea level. It is situated on top of a cliff, so we had a lot of stairs to climb from the station. We followed the trail from Corniglia to Vernazza, took a break for some ice cream, then took a water taxi to Monterosso, where we watched the sunset and had dinner, before returning by train to La Spezia.
