About me
I’m a 20-year-old medical student from Palermo. I’ve always been passionate about the sea, and I spend as much time as I can surfing or windsurfing. I love sports in general, especially when they allow me to be outdoors and connected with nature. I enjoy both nature-focused trips and cultural ones, and when I travel I love immersing myself in the local culture and meeting people from the area. Even though I’ve never tried solo traveling, I’d really like to give it a shot—one of my goals is to plan a surf trip and also take part in a volunteer program abroad in exchange for food and accommodation

Is Palermo safe for female travelers?
Solo travel
Having already been to Palermo once with a companion, I felt safe. Especially since I stayed on the usual routes and there were a lot of people around. However, I wouldn't walk around the narrow streets alone in the evenings.
