- smell of weed everywhere; didn’t feel safe, lots of homeless and migrants, someone was buying drugs right in front of me (it was daytime); everything is expensive, basic pasta in a small cafe starting 9 euro; Italian cuisine gets boring on a 3d day. + hot men, my tinder turned into an art gallery; lots of designer shops with pretty windows must visits: duomo rooftop (terraces); da vinci’s last supper museum; monumental cemetery; brera gallery; como lake

I felt somewhat the same, but the area I was in was terrible. Overall, the trip was great! If you are planning to go alone, it's great to visit the city and nearby cities during the day. However, at night, it would be wise to stay in safer, crowded areas.
