About me

Hi, I am Federica, from Bari, Italy :) I am a musician, I play the saxophone and sing and attend the Monopoli conservatory. My other job is being an Italian teacher online. I enjoy reading, films, a nice chat outside, good wine, dancing... And many other stuff. I would like to travel more, meet new people and maybe have hospitality for free, it would be great! I am currently moving house so I hope I can return the favour soon. Let's meet!

Is Bari worth visiting?

3.9 /5

Solo travel

I just got back from a solo trip to Bari, and I didn't have a single unpleasant experience, everyone was very helpful and friendly. I walked around the city at night too, and I felt very safe.

Couple travel

I just simply fell in love with this city. Many people don’t stay here long, because they use it as a stop for their trip around Puglia. But let me tell you, I felt so at home. And although Bari is known as a rather dangerous city I never felt unsafe, I often walked home alone in the middle of the night (I stayed in the city center, just fyi)I could probably write a full food guide, but you must try Frulez, and Panzerotti & Focaccia at Magda. And so many cute vintage shops, Piattini D’avanguardia, Eroi, Prinz Zaum etc etc. Also: If you’re there in November/December: Check out the Bari International Gender Film Festival!<3
