After travelling all around Italy for almost a year I decided to see Rome. I got absolutely disappointed. To me it's the least Italian city I've ever been to, a huge amusement park for tourists. Those magnificent monuments and churches don't impress after you've lived in Florence and Palermo, overpriced everything and crowds are not justified by anything. I would not recommend staying there for more than 2 days. I didn't get pickpocketed or scammed because of previous experiences that taught me...
