About me

Hello, I'm Sofia, currently looking for an exchange with munich. Otherwise I don't host, I'm sorry but I live at home with my mom and I can only do exceptional planned exchanges. About me: I'm 22, I study philosophy in Rome. I'm studying my german (I'm passionate about learning languages in general, by far I got some french besides english, and my mothertongue, italian. I had the chance to study latin and ancient greek in high school and loved it). I study singing and I play the piano. I love everything that's art and culture, but my interests are divided accoriding to my two brain empispheres I guess, from drawing, photopgraphy and museums to chess, maths and science. I actually took mathematics for one year in university. I'm a very tolerant and open minded person (guess this comes with studying philosophy?). I don't smoke, I don't have animals (but I do love them). I like my place clean and tidy, it helps with keeping my mind clean and tidy. I like to have a relaxed atmosphere in the house, where everyone can express themselves and openly address anykind of problem! I kind of think of myself as an introverted person but actually lately it seems like people think of me as an extrovert, I guess if we click and have topics in common I can become very chatty and with the right music I can have real fun! I do love a good party when I'm in the mood or go dancing, hanging out and particularly enjoy live music! I really believe I can adapt to the atmosphere and absorbe the energy of the sorroundings. Becoming friends would be nice but I also understand that everbody has their business going on. My quirky traits are that I love salad and I don't drink alcohol, but I swear I am not against it, it's just something about the smell, I guess germans won't like me that much for this, but I'l try to conquer them with something else, maybe I can sing Marlene Dietrich. I can provide references and whatever document you need.

About me

Just moved to Rome from Florida. Traveling Europe for a bitty. Looking forward to making new connections ☺️ I graduated with a software engineering degree last year after spending yearssss working three jobs while going to school full time, so I am just out here seizing all opportunities to passionately enjoy being alive. Things I like to do when traveling: Eat good food, have a nice cocktail at a rooftop bar or get a bird's eye view, hike a trail or simply wander city streets, enjoy a botanical garden, go to a museum, danceeeeee, check out a live music event, and meet new people!

About Me

Hey girls,My friends call me Aizayyyy (they love to add as many "y"s as they can). I am calm, polite, and a very good listener and observer. I'm a student, and my complex and difficult research sometimes makes me crazy, but on the side, I like to explore and visit new places. I love to cook for others, though not so much for myself 😆. I strongly believe in doing good and helping everyone, as you'll be rewarded with something good in any form.

Rome is gorgeous. I would definitely recommend just walking around the city to get a feel for the atmosphere. Eat as much gelato as you possibly can and definitely check out the Vatican. I felt safe there when I was 17 with my group.

Rome was incredible! The weather was super hot, but always sunny. Each day had a low of 21-24°C, and a high of 30-35°C. We would go out for breakfast, walk around for an hour or two, go back to the apartment for aircon, and then would go out again and repeat for dinner too. Mostly because we got tired from walking so much, but also because of the heat. I felt safe, but I was travelling with my sister and her partner, I believe it would’ve been a little different without her boyfriend. The budget on food & drink together was about 20-30 euros per person, but it was amazing quality. We stayed in an air bnb around Parione, and it was a lovely spacious apartment. The buildings were old, so there were portable air-conditioners in every room, and it was a quiet area close to some main food & shopping spots. We walked everywhere and didn’t take any public transportation. It was hot but (we’re Aussie) it’s not that bad, and we love a walk (at least I do). It’s the best way to see some cool streets and find little hidden gem shops as well.

I went to Rome with my husbond and it was an amazing trip. Very crowded so we used taxi. The food is so good and you can eat inexpencive a little outside the centre. We had a wonderful stay and there is very much to see.

Solo travel

overrated, extremely hot, crowded... if you're going rome in summer please don't go. Everywhere is super close to each other, but even if you're going in the morning, there are so many people. getting lost in the monti, trastevere is a really good choice..
