I am a dancer from South Africa. I lived in England and France. I've chosen to freelance and travel a bit, while auditioning. I studied many styles of movement but my favorites are classical and contemporary. I speak English, French and Afrikaans. I've lived in many house shares and love meeting new people. For hosting, I can only offer one night in emergency situations. As I don’t have anything but my bed and I would offer it to you if needed.

Hello!! I am an architect with a PhD, a high school teacher, and a passionate traveler who loves discovering new cultures and experiences. I live in a comfortable home in Rome with my husband, where we have a guest room available for fellow women travelers. I enjoy sharing meaningful conversations, exploring hidden gems in the city, and connecting with people from around the world. In my free time, I play volleyball, explore new destinations, and spend time with my friends and my cat, Olivia. I would be delighted to host or exchange hospitality with like-minded women who value connection, culture, and adventure.

Rome is definitely a pearl of history. There is a lot of delicious food there. If you like good coffee, then look for specialty coffee on the map of any city. I drank in the Roman “Faro” (name of coffee place). I liked everything. Every corner of the city is like a piece of architecture, but at the same time watch your wallets. I will say about my experience this way... Rome once and... that's enough) I know that many will disagree with me, but I liked the colorful Naples and cozy Bari more.
Posted: June 20, 2025During my trip to Rome i felt safe I'd say. Never really thought too much about it, because the people were so nice and friendly. I only had one unpleasant occurence in the crowded metro, so I'd stay away from it during night and be extra careful with my belongings and surroundings. Other than that, everything else felt safe enough. Once you get a hold of how metro and Termini station work, it can be really handy. Rome is a walkable place, so you won't need transportation all the time which I liked. Keep in mind that Rome is on the expensive side though. You will spend some good money there. Locals are always ready to help, which I liked the most during my trip!
