Rome was the first place I visited during a month long school trip to Italy, and I’m not sure it was just me getting used to not being home, but it was by far the most unsafe I truly felt the entire time. On my second day there my purse was stolen out of the bottom of my bum bag that i was wearing underneath my coat. all in all i probably wouldn’t go back here as i’ve seen all the attractions now, which are very lovely. The hotel i stayed in was great, very spacious and good food.

I would recommend booking things ahead if you want to enter the attractions, Vatican museums are a must if you are in Rome!! Also, if you are traveling low budget but still want to eat good Italian food, I recommend going to restaurants that are far from the main attractions.
