I can recommend visiting Rome at the end of February. The weather is already around 15 degrees in the afternoon, so it is very pleasant to do the sightseeing. You have to book in advance the visit at the Colosseum, Villa Borghese and Musei Vaticani. You also have to book the restaurant Rifugio Romano! For the rest, improvise.:)
