I felt very safe in Turin. During the day, it’s easy to walk around and explore and even at night I felt comfortable especially in busy areas. Some must-see spots are the Mole Antonelliana, the Egyptian Museum, and Piazza Castello. Turin is pretty affordable compared to other major Italian cities. I stayed at Hotel Nizza, which is located in a great central area, close to major attractions and the train station. The hotel was clean, comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was perfect for a short stay. It was a budget-friendly option, making it a good choice for anyone looking to explore the city without spending too much on accommodation.

Hi, I’m Abi, I have two daughters and I am a solo mum. I work in jewellery manufacturing but in my free time I like to practice aerial hoop and gymnastics for fun. When I am in my short bursts without the children I am interested in solo travel to explore the world just one day at a time. I have been learning Italian and once I’ve conquered that I hope to learn more languages!

Happy to meet up for a coffee, to explore the non-touristiy places, see the beautiful and the ugly side of a city and have some meaningful conversations. I like galleries and street art. I try not to take myself too serious and to make this world a better place as often as I can.
