How safe is Kolobrzeg?

Aside from the steps and dark corners of the city, it is really safe. The streets are empty and quiet at night. It's mainly a city of retirees and there is nothing to fear. Fridays by the sea can be unsettling, especially near the pier.

very safe place, no problem with any kind of traveling stuff. People are not too helpfull tho and it might be a bit hatd to find someone who speaks English, although German is usually really welcome there.
