Udine is quite safe as a city. Depends on the zones you are in, but except for the station it is quite calm and safe. At night it could happen to see some drunk guy even in the center but there are police cars going around so it should remain safe
Posted: May 28, 2025Udine is a town with 90.000 inhabitants. I feel really safe in most places within the city. There are only some areas ( which are far from the city centre and usually of no interest for tourists) which maybe can be a bit dodgy for a woman travelling solo. You should also be careful of alone near the train station at night after 11.00 pm. But actually there are Police Cars often patrolling the streets so It Is quite safe. All in all Udine is a very safe Town .
