I feel safe but there are still men that yell at you ar call you, you can get robbed but so it’s better to be aware, If you visit the ccentral city there is really no problem, noone will harrass you, at least I feel safe 80%

Parma is quite a safe city, apart from the baby-gangs (groups of young boys) that usually attack people of their same age (teenagers), surrounding them and robbing their money or their mobile (but also their branded clothes).
Posted: April 24, 2025It's actually a very safe city. However, there have been a few incidents that have made me want to buy pepper spray for protection. Once I was in a park and a group of men started coming towards me saying something (I don't know what they wanted) and I just kept walking without paying attention and they backed away.
Posted: April 12, 2025Parma is safe but need to tale care of your things otherwise high chance to be rubbery. Overall I love to stay here. Its beautiful specially the city center. I would say its safe even-though a girl can go alone on the midnight

Parma is cool and chill but it depends on the part of the city you’re in and the time of the day. People tend to catcall in every part of the city and at every hour, but in my experience, it stops there. During the day i rarely assisted to any fight or such, but at night it’s different, if you’re in the city center it’s safe and okay because of the city being full of students, but where the city is less crowded i don’t feel safe at all.
