Brescia is a province that spreads wide from north to south for about 200 km. The outskirts of the city are 98% safe to travel to. The city itself varies from areas to areas. I’d definitely stir away from the train/bus station late at night but during the day there will always be be plenty of people around and also you’ll always feel protected with the military roaming at entrance of the station. Piazza Vittoria is the centre of the town where you can find a lot of people but same as the train station, if you’re alone at night, pass through it fast and steady. I used to get off work late at night and had to get to Vittoria station by myself and in a year I only encountered one foreign man, probably Indian or Pakistani from the looks of it, that actually bothered me a lot and I couldn’t feel safe until I got home. The rest of the squares around are pretty safe but Brescia is a small city that actually goes to sleep at night so you should also go to bed and not try to live vicariously through it. Just visit it during the day and everything will be okay :)

Brescia, like all cities in the world, has some safer areas and others less so. The train station is a moderately safe area during the day, but not at night or in the evening you have to be with another person because there are drunk people.another area to avoid 100% during the evening and night is via Milano, if it is necessary to go there I recommend accompanied by several male people the means of transport are modern and safe even for those traveling alone. I always use the buses for everything, but not late at night. verbal harassment unfortunately also happens in Brescia during the day.
Posted: January 13, 2025It’s safe as any big city can be: it definitely could be better, although on the other hand it isn’t extremely dangerous. it is also fairly safe to walk around alone, even at night, especially cause pretty often it’s packed
Posted: January 2, 2025Brescia i think that it’s a safe city with a good sistem of public transport, but I preref not be alone during the night if I go around the city. I don’t have negative expérience for now, but during the night it is better not to frequent certain areas of the city
