Mostly I consider Rostock a quite safe place, but during the evening and Night is it good to stay away from "Lütten Klein", "Schmarl", "Groß Klein", "Toitenwinkel" and "Dierkow" since there are is a higher crime rate at night and some weird people walking around. But along as you stay cautious, you'll be fine!

Really safe. I personally never witnessed any Creme. I feel as safe as i can feel. Its also rallye safe for LGBTQAI+ people. In one year you hear about 2 to 3 shocking news (a gay bar was destroyed and some kids attacked euch other with knives).

Rostock is a small town which is pretty divided into two parts… inside circle of quarters has higher living standard, therefore higher class people, therefore less criminality than the outside quarters.

About me

Hi, I am Antonia, (20y) and come from Germany. I lived in Sweden most of my childhood, but moved back to Rostock for my work at the Check-In for Stena Line (the ferry company). I love to travel, explore new places, cultures and Food. I was in Portugal 2024 as a part of my school though Erasmus+ and there really found my passion for exploring new countries. I am always looking for travel buddies or people who'd love to show me around their city a little.
