I feel really safe here in Toronto. People are nice. I've been staying here since Sept '23, and I'll be leaving in a month, but I think for girls, it's a good place to visit! The only bummer is the cost—everything's so expensive, especially for me coming from Italy, where I was used to way cheaper prices. Still recommend coming, though!

Little china is an amazing place to check out to if you like buying little things from your travels. The night life there is amazing almost anywhere you go there will be happy faces to welcome you.

I love Toronto. I've been there many times as a solo traveller and I always felt safe. "Sharks After Dark" at the aquarium is a great attraction. Fantastic food - lots of ethnic diversity. Public transportation is also easy. There are many places to visit and activities in the city center, which are within walking distance.

Great city to move around and find multicultural restaurants and places to visit. Transportation is easy enough but this city is very expensive, so come with a budget to enjoy it

The city is quite well connected by public transport (TTC). You can get a transit pass (PRESTO) for $6 at any subway station, and it's used for buses, trains, and trams all over the city. Here's my list for Toronto: - Visit Toronto Island. It's beautiful! There's a ferry that takes you there and back. The schedule should be available online. - High Park - for autumn colors - Check out the Distillery District at night. It has a nice atmosphere! - Queen West has many interesting restaurants, bars and cafes - Kensington Market - again plenty of interesting cafes and restaurants - The waterfront is a hub of activity - Spadina and Dundas West have delicious Korean and Chinese food. - St. Lawrence Market has interesting dining options - Humber Shores is a charming area for an evening walk.

Is Toronto safe for women?

Toronto is a generally safe space, but there are bits here and there that are more dangerous. As long as you are where people are, you are safe. Where I go out in downtown, I don’t really worry about theft or sexual harassment/assault. I tend to stay away from drunk men anyway

Hey ! I am a Toronto local and here are a few tips I have for you ladies : 1. This is a very safe city however the subway has been filled with homeless people and sometimes even I don’t feel safe being on subway platforms late at night.even during the day stay well back from the tracks and watch your surroundings 2. Toronto is full of beautiful parks . I definitely recommend high park in the west end for a day trip of walking and pic mix 3. Check out Toronto islands in the summer and to avoid the crowded ferry there is a tiki taxi that is much faster and cheap 4. Traffic is awful all the time . I generally walk around in the downtown core to avoid being stuck

Toronto is a safe place to travel. However the downtown east side of the city can get a little sketchy at night. I would recommend harbourfront for walks, but avoid the restaurants there. They are overpriced and the food is not amazing.

- Toronto is safe for women, I think everyone is very polite and stands up for other people they don’t know. It’s pretty safe at night as long as you’re in the right areas. I wouldn’t walk outside alone past 3am. - For restaurants and bars, there is so much variety. For fine dining… Vela, Aloette, Prime Seafood Palace, Blue Bloods steakhouse. For hidden gems… Gus Tacos, Rudy’s smash burgers, Fresca Pizzas. - In a pinch, Chinatown is great for cheap eats and cheap groceries. Ride around the TTC train and streetcars for $3.25 with a two hour transfer. - Safest places would be between Liberty Village, Cityplace, Trinity Bellwoods in my opinion. Rougher areas include Kensington Market and Chinatown after 2am.

Toronto beckons with its dynamic urban landscape and cultural tapestry, making it an enticing destination for visitors. The iconic CN Tower graces the skyline, offering panoramic views that capture the city's grandeur. Explore the diverse neighborhoods, from the vibrant Kensington Market to the historic charm of Old Toronto. However, while Toronto is generally safe, it's essential for visitors to be vigilant in certain areas, especially in the downtown core at night. Like any major city, it's wise to stay aware of your surroundings and take common-sense precautions.

Summer is the best time to visit. I highly recommend visiting the CN Tower, Toronto Islands, Art Gallery of Ontario, Nathan Phillips Square, Osgoode Hall, and the neighborhoods of Queen Street West, Annex and Leslieville. The public transportation system is quite easy to understand and safe. Downtown Toronto is very pedestrian-friendly, although exploring the city on foot is more exciting.
