Group travel experience

Winnipeg is a safe town full of wonderful people. I felt safe here and I recommend a solo travel here. People are wonderful and happy to help out foreigners. I’d love to come back cause I made some friends over here. If you walk alone no one will bother you which is great!

Is Winnipeg safe for women?

Winnipeg isn't the best place for solo travelers, don't go out after dark alone, I'd stay away from down town alone. It's hard to predict safety since there's pockets of safe! But pockets of not great areas. There's no one part of town to avoid. Usually you're fine during the day, may have some verbal yelling though.

About Me

Hi! I'm Jo. I'm 26, and a new traveler. I'm a bit of a nerd, I love Dungeons & Dragons, and board games. I love to meet new people and find new friends. I love discovering new coffee shops, pubs and pretty landscapes. I'm still a uni student doing a bachelor's and taking my sweet time at it. I love pets and all animals, fun fact I've ran infront of a truck to save a turtle on the drive back from my family's cabin once 😅 I love questions so if you have any! Ask away!
