A fun and interesting place to visit, delicious food, a great variety of nightlife, beautiful views, the people are quite friendly, there are many affordable accommodation options, it is a big city.

Depends on the area where you're at and the time. Down town it's fine, you can walk and find a lot of people but for me it's better to walk before 9pm, it's ok if you want to walk later I just personally feel a bit unsafe there.
Posted: April 12, 2025Guadalajara’s hotspots and touristic spots are fairly safe in the daytime. But for a solo female traveller you really ought to be careful after dark, and ask locals about safety precautions and possible dangers.

Hiii, I'm Verónica, from Mexico. I'm biologist, scuba diver and vegan too, I love to explore nature especially the marine life. I've been solo traveling since 2022 after a breakup and that helped me to live a great life adventure, so I want to keep exploring other places and meet other people around the world. It's wonderful to find traveler women communities to help each other and share great moments.
