I have been to Cabo very many times due to it being close to where I live. Most of the time I have traveled with my husband and we stay at the resorts or restaurant out of the downtown and I feel extremely safe. However I traveled in October with 2 other women by ourselves and we did run into some shady characters and sketchy situations downtown. For example we had multiple djs and men trying to push drinks and misc bottles on us to drink and were grabbed at while walking to our Ubers etc. while in our resort we all felt completely safe.

Solo travel

I had a beautiful experience in Cabo. The locals were incredible. The food was delicious and the nature and atmosphere was a 10 out of 10 I felt very safe at my resort and in the surrounding neighborhood however, I would suggest if you’re going to go out to downtown Cabo definitely go in a group if you’re traveling alone as a woman, I had a blast and would definitely recommend visiting Flora Farms and taking surf lessons!

I went to Mexico with my best friend, and had the time of my life thrived in a community that was not mine. The views are unbeatable, and the food is so good. I’m at lots of fun. People really felt super welcome. Drinks and Mexico are so much stronger.
