A fun and interesting place to visit, delicious food, a great variety of nightlife, beautiful views, the people are quite friendly, there are many affordable accommodation options, it is a big city.

I've lived here my whole life and have never experienced anything bad happen to me. I don't live in a bad part of the city (but also not in the privileged, rich part which is safer), and I still haven't felt at risk.

Depends on the area where you're at and the time. Down town it's fine, you can walk and find a lot of people but for me it's better to walk before 9pm, it's ok if you want to walk later I just personally feel a bit unsafe there.

Posted: January 5, 2025Guadalajara it’s a great destination if you come to Mexico. It’s full of cultural spots and new trendy places when it comes to art, design or even fashion. It’s a very safe city but you have to be careful in some areas
Posted: September 8, 2024I think Guadalajara is mostly safe, at least in the most touristy places and during the day, maybe I would be a bit more cautious at night and avoid to walk alone. Always keep an eye on your stuff, there might be pickpockets in some areas
