I‘ve lived in Calgary for about a year. I‘ve never not felt safe even if walking around alone and in the dark. Sometimes the C-Train stations can feel a bit weird. If you don’t feel comfortable maybe just take an Uber :)

Calgary is very safe. I walk alone at night as a woman and never have fear. You will rarely hear of any crime. There might be theft if you left your things out, but more likely it will be returned to you.

Really safe city! People are friendly and warm. Some crime and homelessness downtown and NE side of the city but other than that it is really safe. Definitely can travel alone a a girl and walk around at night!
