About me

Hi, beautiful people💕 My name is Emma, I'm 19yo originally from Bulgaria, but now I'm doing my bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences in Groningen 🇳🇱 I looove people, I looove traveling and specifically the process of getting from one point to another - not even the destination that much. Besides that, I'm very much into literature (classics, criminal, romance - just give it to me), history, and politics.

About me

My name is Marije. I've been travelling a lot; for the adventure and sometimes for research during my study in Human Geography. My master research was mainly focused on the Arctic region. I love fine arts, painting and working with my hands. I'm also really into martial arts. I practised Judo for ten years when I was younger. Now I mostly do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It's wonderful to meet new people; sharing interesting perspectives and stories. I love to cook for others and to throw theme parties. I like it when I can meet up with locals when I'm somewhere and I also enjoy to act as a local myself when people visit my hometown!

Solo travel

I love visiting Groningen - I absolutely recommend renting a bike to get the actual local authentic experience. The city museum is just fantastic, food options are diverse and exciting, lots of nice bars and cofee places, especially in the city centre and close to Rijksuniversity. The park is also a must see, and coffeeshops are safe also for a solo travellers that wants to try!
