Hi! I am a (mostly) solo traveller looking for an authentic experience in any country I visit. Big fan of the outdoors but enjoy sleepy surfer towns and nightlife just as much. Favorite kitchen: Mexican.

About me

Hi fellow adventurers, my name is Kim, a Dutchie who loves to travel the world. I love hiking, literature, long summer nights filled with deep conversations about life, learning about new cultures and am a real water person, be it the ocean, lakes, rivers or just a small stream ;) Nature is my happy place. But also really love dancing the night away on a music festival. I look forward to dive deeper in the female travel community with you to make more travel friends all over the world!

About me

Hi I am Leona, 28 years old! I come from Germany and have lived in the Netherlands for almost 10 years now! I studied psychology and have worked as a psychologist for two years before I started travelling through South America. It was such an amazing experience and I am hooked about travelling, living a simple life and enjoying new cultures and nature. I love meeting people that are curious about the world, adventurous and like to inspire and be inspired. Apart from travelling I love being creative, drawing, writing, acting. I would describe myself as a friendly person, who likes to talk and discuss various topics. Also I enjoy being quiet and observing what's happening around me. I don't go out very often, but when I do it's with the right people ;)

Solo travel

I came into Utrecht after two days in Amsterdam. I really enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the bigger city but it was hard to feel like I belonged somewhere- as soon as I got into Utrecht- the smaller scale of the buildings and vibrancy of all the little cafes and stores drew me in. Although I am nearly 50, I joined in with a group of locals in their 20s for drinks and later we went dancing which was so much fun as it had been years since I’d done so. Everyone was warm and inviting. No bad vibes entire stay

Group travel

We had gone to a card tournament with our group of friends, so we didn't have any other activities. There was a shopping mall in the center. There was a lot of food selection there. So, as an allergic person, it was possible for me to find some dishes. There are some gluten-free options available like, for example, at Vapiano.
