Hello, my name is Mara. I live in Holland but I’m going travelling for year in Costa Rica. I was born in Costa Rica and lived there for three years until me and my mom moved to Holland. Group travel
I went on a girls trip with three friends to Maastricht. One of my friends studies there so being with a local helped me feel safe in the city but the city is definitely safe without a local to help! It's a university city so there are students milling about at all hours of the day and night, so as three girls walking home from the bar at 2am, we did not feel nervous at all.
