About me

Hi everyone!! I am currently interrailing with my girlfriend around Italy Austria and Switzerland! We had a lot of last minute changed in our plans and are mostly now looking for last minute couches and meet ups. Together we just did a summer school in Athens where we shot a documentary about community organised cultural spaces in Athens and since then we have been on the road for over a month to celebrate my girlfriend’s graduation! Hit us up!! A little about me then: I am Ylvali, a 22 year old from Sweden currently studying in The Hague. I love to meet new people and to be surrounded by light hearted and curious people, especially other women! I travel to learn about the different ways life can be experienced and this is what I seek here as well. I find travelling infinitely more interesting when you have locals around to peak into what they like and hate in a city, how they socialize and meet their friends, what their favourite spots to eat are, and everything in between. As I’d like to think that liking to travel is not a personality trait, my other hobbies consist of all things creative- I paint, draw, make jewellery, do graphics and more. And also designing and occasionally giving out tattoos to friends but that’s a story for another day. I also love reading and writing and going to the cinemas, especially smaller independent cinemas! If you’re open to going on long walks that will take double the estimated time because we can’t stop talking and laughing, swimming in lakes and waterfalls, chasing sunsets, we will probably get along well!!! I would love to connect and visit or host you:)

About me

Hi, I’m Alina! I’m from India but currently living in The Hague. When it comes to travel, I’m all in—as long as it’s not one of those exhausting, super-packed schedules. I love solo travel because it helps me reconnect with myself. But I also really want to experience group travel—meet new people, make connections, and explore together (I just haven’t had the chance yet). And luxury travel? Yes, please! Pamper me, show me gorgeous hotels, and let me soak it all in. On the flip side, I’m also a big fan of the freedom that comes with just grabbing a backpack and taking off. There’s something magical about that kind of spontaneity. My favorite destination so far is Italy—everything about it hits home for me. The art, the warm and welcoming people, and, of course, the food (can’t forget the food!). I don’t have specific travel goals right now because I’m not much of a planner. My dream is to simply keep traveling—experiencing new things, new places, and new people. What I love most about traveling is how it makes me feel both small and big at the same time. The world is huge, but no matter where you go, you find these beautiful similarities and differences that connect us all. I’m excited to be here and can’t wait to meet and travel with all of you amazing women. Let’s create some beautiful memories together!

About me

Hi, hej, oi! I'm a Portuguese who just moved to the Netherlands after about 2 decades abroad and a few funny countries (from Brazil to Iceland). I love cooking, delicious food, drinking a hood wine or beer and have a nice apartment with a small garden. You're welcome to visit or ask for tips in Portuguese, Spanish, English, French and Italian. I don't smoke and that's my only requirement - no smoker ladies please :)

About Me

Hi! My name is Djonie, i'm from the Netherlands. I'm following a food related study right now, hopefully i'll graduate this summer! I love the Netherlands, but i want to do things, experience life and explore other countries and cultures! I'm pretty calm and coolheaded but i want to get out of my habit of staying home and not going anywhere. I'm planning to to volunteer work after my graduation, thinking of somewhere in Asia 🗺️ I'd love to go back packing too but i need to start somewhere, right?

Is The Hague worth visiting?

4.1 /5

Based on 5 experiences

Couple travel

I felt very safe and would recommend visiting the pier in Scheveningen. We had very delicious breakfast and visited amazing bars as well. The overall experience was great because The Hague has a lot to offer

The Hague is one of the most safest towns I have ever been in. The local people were very nice and kind. They were helpful. The food is great and there are many fun activities to visit, such as pubs, the beach and many other things. Would 100% recommend.
