Hii beautiful human, I’m Laya :) I was born and raised in an international community in South India focused on ecology and sustainable living. I have French & South African roots, though my family has lived in India for the past 25 years. This summer, my friend and I are backpacking through Europe. As students travelling on a budget we're hoping to find places to stay and opportunities to meet new people ☀️ If you’d be open to hosting us for a couple days we'd be so so grateful! 🌀🌿

Hi everyone, I’m Carla 👋 I divide my time between Amsterdam and Dénia, Spain – two places I call home. I’m an artist who loves to travel, and I’d describe myself as down-to-earth, spontaneous and open when meeting new people. I enjoy exploring culture, sharing experiences, and simply having fun together. Note: I don't have a extra bedroom, only a couch for 1 person, I smoke cannabis. I rarely are able to host. If you’re in Amsterdam, I’d be happy to show you around from a local’s perspective – and if you find yourself in Dénia, that’s another option to connect as well. Looking forward to meeting new travel friends ✨

I was born in Southeast Poland, raised in Amsterdam, studied Art&Design in Rotterdam and now I am living my dream in South India where I am working on becoming a yogini🧘🏽♀️ I enjoy more of a quiet living even tho I live in the busy centre of Amsterdam. I have my spots in the city and stay away from the crowded areas in town. I love food (both making and consuming), I enjoy arthouse cinema, late night walks, swimming outdoors in the summer and all the simple small things of everyday living.
Based on 117 experiences
I traveled during King’s day, which js supposed to be a day for partying and super good vibes. However, I felt like people were extremely rude towards foreigners. They would call me names, stare down at me and the people I had befriended on my hostel. Genuinely, hated the whole experience. Left earlier than expected. It worries me that some nations are becoming very intolerant towards other cultures and visitors.
