About me

Hi everyone, I’m Carla 👋 I divide my time between Amsterdam and Dénia, Spain – two places I call home. I’m an artist who loves to travel, and I’d describe myself as down-to-earth, spontaneous and open when meeting new people. I enjoy exploring culture, sharing experiences, and simply having fun together. If you’re in Amsterdam, I’d be happy to show you around from a local’s perspective – and if you find yourself in Dénia, that’s another option to connect as well. Looking forward to meeting new travel friends ✨ ---

About me

Hii beautiful human, I’m Laya :) I was born and raised in an international community in South India focused on ecology and sustainable living. I have French & South African roots, though my family has lived in India for the past 25 years. This summer, my friend and I are backpacking through Europe. As students travelling on a budget we're hoping to find places to stay and opportunities to meet new people ☀️ If you’d be open to hosting us for a couple days we'd be so so grateful! 🌀🌿

About me

UPD: looking for a partner in crime to go to a Justin Timberlake concert in Milan on June 2nd! DM if that’s you ☺️ Always curious and open to new experiences. I love learning about cultures, languages, and different ways of seeing the world — meeting people and hearing their stories is one of my favorite things. I grew up in Russia, spent about 10 years in New York (where I studied Religious Studies), and now work remotely as Head of Operations for an IT company. Volunteering is a big part of my life — I work with refugees, support orphanages abroad, and organize social projects for young adults in my city. I’m into late-night jazz, morning coffee rituals, sailing trips, tennis games, and meaningful conversations. Always up for meeting like-minded people and making good memories together.

About me

I was born in Southeast Poland, raised in Amsterdam, studied Art&Design in Rotterdam and now I am living my dream in South India where I am working on becoming a yogini🧘🏽‍♀️ I enjoy more of a quiet living even tho I live in the busy centre of Amsterdam. I have my spots in the city and stay away from the crowded areas in town. I love food (both making and consuming), I enjoy arthouse cinema, late night walks, swimming outdoors in the summer and all the simple small things of everyday living.

i felt pretty safe overall during the day, never had any weird experiences. the only time i felt unsafe was of course in the evening while i was out and about with friends i met at the hostel. a lot of men were creepy, stared and said weird things. i found the city as a whole wonderful, i fell in love with amsterdam. the way the city is set up with the houses and canals feels so nice and i like that you can practically bike everywhere. there‘s a lot of diversity with cafés, restaurants (of different cultures), thrift shops, clubs, & activities !
