About me

Hi there! I’m Yennie, a 21-year-old Chinese girl currently living in Amsterdam, where I’m studying for my master’s degree. I absolutely love traveling, hiking, and exploring new cultures. Whether it’s taking in the stunning views from a mountaintop or wandering through a vibrant city, I’m always up for an adventure. Aside from traveling, I enjoy photography and capturing the beauty of different places. I’m also a fan of trying out local cuisines—hotpot and pizza are my favorites! If you’re into outdoor activities or just want to share travel stories, feel free to reach out. I’d love to make new friends and discover the world together! Looking forward to connecting with like-minded women travelers! 😊

About Me

Hi! Nice to meet you!😊 My name is Cheyenne. I am a Dutch local and student in Amsterdam. I study philosophy and physics, with a minor in International Development Studies. Aside from being a student, I like to play the guitar, travel, do yoga and meditation and I really love the arts, music, culture and being in nature. I would describe myself as a very openminded, welcoming, curious and compassionate person who loves going on random adventures and connecting authentically with people! Here to connect with amazing women from around the world! Thought I’d give this app a try since I am really into traveling, learning more about different cultures and making new connections. I’ve backpacked through south east asia and it is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had! I would really love to get to know more about you, your culture and experiences. I really believe that seeing different parts of the world and meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds is truly enriching and essential for growing more compassion and understanding. For this reason, I would be so grateful for you sharing your culture with me, and of course, I would be more than happy to share mine with you! Please feel free to message me ☺️, whether this about you wanting to meet up in Amsterdam, if you want to hang out, if you need help and tips in Amsterdam, or maybe you are a local in some place I will be travelling to, or literally anything else!

Solo travel

Totally safe. I am always super cautious if I'm visiting somewhere for the first time but I had no worries here at all. The hospitality workers were all lovely, people on the streets are happy, I loved it. I stayed in a 4 bed mixed dormitory at a hostel and I only roomed with dudes for 2 nights and they were all nice! I went to 'coffee shops' on 2 nights with different people I met from the hostel and they were completely different experiences (I'm not a regular smoker). First was super fun and silly, we stayed out quite late wandering the city and ate fries. The second, a seasoned smoker bought this stuff for us and I started feeling weird all of a sudden after 10 mins and left to sit down on a bench by myself. I had a psychotic episode... silently... it was super scary but I had inner monologue telling me to calm down so eventually I walked back to the hostel about 10 minutes away which was completely fine and went to bed. When I woke up everything was normal. Moral of the story is make sure the person in the shop knows you need something light not something that will send you into the stratosphere. Unless that's what you're going for. There are so many varieties of varying strengths, don't make my mistake and smoke anything put in front of you 😂

Solo travel

The safest country in the world I swear. They use bycicle everywhere they go. It's so cool. I liked the views and everything, it was so nice. Museumplein has my heart. And the stores, people were so nice.
