Pretty safe … like any other city some areas should be avoided, other than that I never had an issue, bee living here for 20 years I do avoid the downtown are at night since we had a few mass shootings

Depending on the town because when I think of Orlando i think of all suburban & city areas as an overall metropolitan area. Some places are a 3/10, some are an 8/10. It just depends on which area. Downtown however is just a cesspool!

Depending on the area you go to it’s very unsafe stay away from Pine Hills and Kissimmee it’s extremely dangerous and girls have disappeared. Downtown Orlando is dangerous at night and has many drug addicts and homeless who can and will randomly assault you. Otherwise, the nightlife, the vibes and the people are wonderful and we have many theme parks and things to do.

Orlando is safe in more tourist concentrated locations, primarily surrounding Disney and Universal. There are also wonderful neighborhoods with amazing food and activities such as Winter Park, Dr. Philips, Windermere, Sanford, and even East Orlando close to the University of Central Florida.

Orlando can be a very safe city! I have lived here over 10 years and am born and raised in Florida for most of my life. Just like any other larger US city, you simply need to be vigilant in certain areas of town. Always use reputable rideshare or taxi apps - Orlando has a history of problems with fake cabs. Be mindful of your cell phones when out at bars or clubs! We have pickpockets just like other cities. Areas like downtown or pine hills can be questionable if alone at night, but areas like Mills 50 and winter park are extremely safe and fun! So many things to do here, but as always just be mindful of your surroundings.

i felt safe but a bit expensive. i really enjoyed with universal studios. i stayed at hilton orlando lake buena vista. the overall experience with the hotel was good. i would give 7/10. the main problem was to find anything to eat at night (all shops were closed)
