It is very safe, super friendly environment! I would recommend for any tourists wanting to visit! Especially Chicago area it’s lovely! So many brunch places if you’re into that, otherwise fun things to explore
Posted: June 13, 2024The United States is generally unsafe. Major/big US cities are where you will likely run into trouble (think New York City, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, etc.). There are a lot of worries about human trafficking for women as well as sexual harassment/assault. The United States should not be recommended for solo female travelers.

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and it is relatively safe here. I have never experienced anything out of the ordinary and generally people keep to themselves. I can’t speak of the rest of the United States, but in every place I lived in, I felt extremely safe

Posted: May 31, 2024For 25 days, we traveled through 4 states - California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona. We visited 8 national parks. I must admit, the United States was never at the top of my travel list, but it completely enchanted me. The nature, people, atmosphere, food - everything was amazing. The route: Los Angeles – Big Sur – San Francisco – Yosemite National Park – Sequoia National Park – Death Valley – Las Vegas – Fire Valley – Zion National Park – Bryce Canyon National Park – Canyonlands National Park – Arches National Park – Monument Valley – Horse Shoe Bend – Grand Canyon National Park – Route 66 – Los Angeles. We traveled a total of about 6000 km. We slept in camping sites, which I think is the coolest way to travel in this part of the States. Camping here is very popular and affordable. An admission ticket is required to enter national parks. The most cost-effective option is definitely to purchase an Annual Pass. It's a card that allows you to enter all national parks in the USA for one year. We usually prepared our own breakfasts and dinners. A few times, we ate out. The portions were huge and every dish was delicious.
