It really depends on what state you are in but I would say the United States is pretty safe. Big cities is what u really have to be aware of. When you are in small towns it’s much safer. Again it still matters what state you are in.

Our homeless population has increased since many come from the mainland USA. I’ve lived here all my life and noticed more theft and violent crimes in the past 30 years. I do go out at night by myself but if I’m a parking lot at night I’m very aware of my surroundings.
Posted: April 4, 2025Overall safe but there are areas to pay caution to. I have lived here on and off for several years and have always felt safe. Like other cities, it’s best to be aware of your surroundings but I think it’s generally safe for solo travelers.

There are definitely parts of Indy that are objectively unsafe given high gun violence and drug activity. Staying in the downtown metro area is best way to avoid these neighborhoods on the east and west sides of town. Being mindful of your surroundings is the only advice needed to stay safe as with any city.

Safe family community outside of Philadelphia in New Jersey suburbs. You can check the zip code 08003. The most common crimes are things being taken out of unlocked cars. People walk and bike regularly.
Posted: April 2, 2025Brunswick, Maine (USA) is very safe for women in general. Women of color or women wearing hijab or other muslim-associated clothing may face judgement and maybe rude and hateful comments from one or two people around town. But most people do not say anything out loud if they are judging you. If you are a woman of color or someone thinks you are Muslim, you may be watched more closely in stores and restaurants. You do not need to worry about being physically attacked, though. Openly queer women are, generally, as safe as cis/het/non queer women are in this area.
Posted: April 2, 2025Leonia is a small town right outside of New York City. Because of its proximity to NYC, there is reliable transportation. The last bus from midtown Manhattan into Leonia runs until about 1 AM. The crime rate in Leonia is extremely low. The police station is in the center of town. It’s very safe to walk around at night, although there isn’t much to do at night!

Albuquerque gets a bad rap, there are places that are very dangerous, but there are also so many incredibly safe places. Basically just don’t go below I40 unless you’re in Nob Hill or old town area and you’re fine

Where I live in Maine is very safe. I live in the small coastal town of Saco. It is popular with tourists during the summer however crime rates are extremely low. And is safe for a solo travelers. There Is a big international school on the maine street so the town has a young population who are out and about with no safety concerns/issues.
Posted: April 1, 2025Minneapolis is a fairy safe spot if you’re with groups! I’ve never walked around alone nor do I recommend it! I mostly stay away from the cities after dark, with all the bars and clubs around, the streets can get pretty crowded.

I had an epic experience with One Ocean Diving in Oahu, Hawaii. Ocean Ramsey & Juan Shark are the perfect people to conquer this potential fear with or live out a dream. Sharks used to be a fear of mine and as a professional Stunt woman, it's my nature to push my limits like this. One Ocean Diving are educational and offer a cage free dive with safety divers. I paid the extra fee and had a photographer join us. (They offer this) So you can enjoy your experience and not worry about selfies. Lol 🩵🌊🤙
Posted: March 15, 2025I loved staying in Chicago and although all the talk you hear about how dangerous it is compared to other cities I felt super safe. I loved the architecture boat tour and all the different things Chicago had to offer. Also loved that Chicago is super walkable!

Hi I am Julia. I am kind of that friend with who you can do anything. Go for a walk? Sure. Swim with turtles? My pleasure. Go for a party in a middle of week? Of course. Take a dog for a walk and do picnic? Perfect. Dress as a maid and go to restaurant? That is my idea. Break into a private beach and swim after midnight? Sure, but you pay for the fine. Need a fake girlfriend for your family weeding to piss your grandparents? Should I wear dress or suit?
