Pretty safe! I live in the suburbs so it feels even safer! At night I don’t have to worry about being scared of mugging or robbery. However, anywhere in the world you got to have caution! Pepper spray just in case.

Dallas is pretty safe if you have a car or Uber/Lyft. It’s impossible to get around without it. As far as going out and nightlife, most areas are fairly safe. Some catcalling/harassment but not major.

Dallas is a safe place as long as you stay at public areas. I do not have much to comment as I am still new to Dallas. So far I feel safe at my place. Just ask the locals around about the streets to avoid as some streets have many homeless people walking around.
Posted: May 20, 2024Every time I go into the city I enjoy my time and don’t feel the need to look over my shoulder. I live in a suburban part of town called Frisco, and there are so many fun and cool things that you can do alone.
Posted: May 2, 2024If you want to go clubbing… DONT go to Deep Ellum even the locals are scared of that place, lots of crazy people. Bishop arts, Greenville, and Frisco area (about 40 minutes from the city) are great! Klyde Warren park is also great. Not much to do after that. The food is no NYC or Vegas :(

Dallas is super safe compared to Atlanta, but I would still be cautious due to the amount of gang activity and homelessness that is in the city. Be very careful if you’re solo traveling!!! It isn’t for the faint of heart.
