A beautiful small village with the great Matterhorn view 😍 car free, walkable distance, fresh air, amazing view, plenty of food options, lots of things to do. I went there by train (thanks to Swiss well connected transportation) and walk most of the time in the village.
Posted: December 19, 2023We stayed at the Capricorn Hotel with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn. Be sure to visit Matterhorn Glacier Paradise, which was amazing. The town also has a small open-air museum with log huts. We took the gondola to Furi, then followed the trail, stopping by Ricola's Herb Garden and eating at the Bergrestaurant Blatten.

I'm originally from Berlin, lived and worked in Mallorca for two years. Now I'm in Switzerland, working in Zermatt for a season. I enjoy being around people and getting to know new people.
