Is Switzerland safe for solo female travelers?

Switzerland is known for its high levels of safety and low crime rate. Local authorities are very helpful and it's easy to navigate the public transportation system, even at night. Like anywhere, you should always be aware of your surroundings, avoid poorly-lit or deserted areas late at night and keep an eye on your belongings. But overall, as a solo female traveler, you can feel very secure traveling in Switzerland.

Nice calm city but on Sundays everything is closed so be aware of that. I was there with my bestie both feel safe uber was safe as well only the Main Street was a bit scary bc of party people. Zürich is very expensive but so pretty. I recommend you to visit rheinfalls

Switzerland, Solo travel

I traveled to Switzerland on my own and really enjoyed the experience. The country is incredibly beautiful, very clean and well organized, and I always felt safe as a solo traveler. Nature, cities and infrastructure are impressive. However, compared to German standards, Switzerland is definitely expensive, especially public transportation. Still, it was absolutely worth it and I would recommend it, particularly for solo trips.

Switzerland, Group travel

It was great. It was never enough. I went there twice and plan third. So there are many things to do. Especially if you love nature. Every tipe of traveler can find something to do. Hiking, skiing, canoeing, swimming, walking, climbing... Expensive tho.

Super safe, from my personal experience and the area I was in people didn't even lock their doors but this might be a bit uncommon still reflects the attitude around general safety. Even at night the streets are safe and a local even helped to jumpstart the car!

Very safe it's a small village with a small ski resort and not a lot of people. The population is friendly and very easy going. They are always willing to help. In my years of living here I've never witnessed a major crime.

Switzerland

People are a bit shy but nice and helpful. Everyone respects the others. The roads are safe, lots of shops and the home are secure too. It’s also a very clean country and the air feels fresh. If u need an advice, just ask somebody. People speaks English good there.
