Orgiva is a small town that many people think of as safe. I personally have not had any problems but I have only been here 2 months but walking at night I do feel extremely safe. Take necessary precautions as with any city or country and be aware of your surroundings and you will be fine.

Hi! My name is Nile and I recently moved to Spain from the United States to be an English teacher. I love backpacking, hiking, pubs, live music, thrifting, cooking, and I’m always up for an adventure. I am monolingual at the moment (English) but I am in the process of learning Spanish.

Hello friends! I am a traveling musician, earth steward, and healing arts practitioner. I am currently on an ancestry and music journey throughout Europe and am ready to continue traveling northwards from South Spain. I enjoy singing & songwriting regularly, practicing the healing arts e.g. yoga/meditation, busking/playing gigs, computer work, exploring new places, hiking wild spaces, biking, running, exercizing, swimming, going to markets and walking in awe amidst ancient historical sites, involvement in community events, cooking and sharing meals etc. I finished my associates studies in California this past summer in Arts & Humanities and Natural Resources, and plan to continue education and work in Europe so am traveling around to see how/where that may be possible. I enjoy being a student of life and learning about: history, culture, traditional European lifestyles, music, psycho-somatics, health & well-being, biodiversity conservation, permaculture, herbalism, biology, ecology etc. just enjoy learning about people and topics, even if they are unfamiliar. I look forward to our insightful conversations, shared meals and drinks, and good times together! I highly value healthy conscious living and taking care of homes which host me. I respect my own and others living spaces. When sharing living spaces, good communication, compassion, and honoring my own and others boundaries is essential to me.
