I think Madrid is a very big city in which safety depends on the neighbourhood. I feel like it is a very safe place, overall Spain cities are safe for women, but horrible things still happen. Going alone in the night is not great but I do it very very often and I'm more than fine, only once I experienced someone calling me.
Posted: May 29, 2025I think Mallorca is a very safe place but just to be sure have always someone by your side because I went with friends to Paguera. People over all where very nice and even when we are at a beach where women could safely swim without a top on, it was safe. I didn't see any men bothering women. So, it's very safe in my opinion
Posted: May 29, 2025There's a lot of rumor about insecurity in Barcelona. There's a lot of theft in the city center, but in general, there's no reason to worry too much. Just keep an eye on your belongings at all times and avoid certain areas at night.

Vitoria-Gasteiz is a very calm city, generally you can walk anywhere from the city centre and it has a lot of "red roads" for cycling. I moved here to study at University 10 years ago and I always found it very comfortable and safe, even when I went out with my friends at night.

We went for the first time and we loved it. you‘ll definitely need a car bc there are so many beautiful places to see. I was on a boat tour with FlounderSailing, we watched Dolphins and went snorkeling after that. The Beaches were amazing and every one of them was so different!

Hiii my name is Lola and I am a young Catalan girl from Barcelona. I was born and raised here by my amazing chilean parents, thanks to them i've had many opportunities to travel and see the world. I love art, sports (specially volleyball) and above all being with my friends and meeting new people.
