It’s extremely safe. Nothing ever happens here and if it does, it will have consequences. I was never harassed or anything of the like here, unlike Lisboa, for example. I mean, if you walk alone at 4 in the morning, just be aware of your surroundings but this is a very nice city to live in as a woman.

I haven’t lived here long so I might not be the most reliable source. However, the months that I have lived here have proved safe and people generally leave you alone. I’ve been told that crimes are rare and I haven’t seen pickpockets which can be common in bigger cities.
Posted: September 4, 2024Palma is very safe for everyone. I’ve been walking around by myself since I’m a kid and nothing bad as ever happened to me. As a female you can walk around with no worries, even at night. Just be careful at night when you go to the club with your belongings, that’s it
Posted: September 2, 2024Every year it’s becoming worse , it’s not what it used to be , every year there are more thieves and also homeless people . Be careful when in public transportation with your bags and mobile phones, and also if you’re in a restaurant be careful with your bags.

Almeria is a safe place to stay, you can dress freely and walk alone because nobody is going to hurt you. You only have to stay away from ‘El puche’. In conclusion, enjoy our beautiful beaches and the perfect weather.
Posted: August 30, 2024Someone stole my phone and laptop. I have still traumatized it. And also my roommate got robbed 4 times. In general, I didn’t see any harassment but some parts are so dangerous like el raval, gotic etc.
Posted: August 27, 2024Granada is a very safe university city, we have nightlife quite accustomed in our routine and people go out at any time. Additionally, you make friends very quickly and meet very good people.
Posted: August 27, 2024Salamanca its a very safe city, with a lot of students ( beside july and agust //holidays). In the summer the city is a little bit empty so you can enjoy a nice walk at night. I always walk at night alone even at 2am
Posted: August 25, 2024Overall a very safe city, not too big, not too crowded and has a nice beach side and you can walk to most places in the city. The center can become crowded in the evening, but still not too dangerous.

Seville is a city with a lot of street life and this is why you can feel safe on the street, because there will always be people! The center is a safe place, although you always have to be careful with pickpockets by taking care of your backpacks and bags. In the outskirts there is usually less movement, but even so I have always felt safe in this city and I usually return home alone with my bicycle every night I go out.

Barcelona was a really nice city. It is easy to meet other travelers and the food was also verry good. I don't know much about the public transport because I walked mostly but from what I have seen it is quite easy and safe to get around. But at night I would not go out by myself.
Posted: September 6, 2024I feel very safe in Valencia, there are nice people, especially in Cabanyal. There is free entrance to the beach, you can get there by from city centre metro no.5 or by bus no. 32 or 19 (just 1,50 eur in cash for driver). Recomend to visit Ciudad de las Artes y Sciences. Also Cathedral (there Holy Grail), Torres Seranos, Central market, Museum of porcelain and get drink in Café de las Horas in centre. For salsa dancing you can visit Miky House Club or in the bars in port you can also dance.

Barcelona was amazing! I travelled with my two other friends and we loved Barcelona. The food was the best!!! It was my first time trying Paella and I fell in love; I still cannot stop thinking about it until today. The tapas as well- everything was just up my alley. The vibes of the city, a little too crowded and touristy for my liking to be honest, but the liveliness and the food makes up for it. The attractions are interesting, especially La Pedrera-Casa Mila and Sagrada Familia (though it's always in-construction). I particularly loved Barceloneta beach. While my friends went to Camp Nou, I strolled the coast of Barceloneta and had the best time jamming to the live bands on the shore.
Posted: September 9, 2024Experienced: March, 2024An unspoiled medieval city, with orange tree lined streets, charm and beautiful nature. I stayed near the quartz towers, hired a bike... The city and the beach I did as 2 seperate holidays Would definatley go back

Hello! I’m Vanessa, nice to meet you!✨🌸. I’m half Venezuelan and half Spanish, and although I’ve been living in Madrid for quite some time, I’ve also lived in Peru and Chile. Traveling is something I really enjoy, whether it’s with my husband or my friends. I also love cooking, learning new languages, and making great memories. I studied graphic design, but now I work as a Spanish teacher. If you host me, I’d be happy to cook some delicious Spanish and Venezuelan dishes for you, share fun stories from my travels, and help you learn some Spanish! What do you think? 😊🫰🏻

Hi, I'm Ana. I was a sociologist and a Spanish teacher until COVID, the pandemic came with a completely different job which I would have never applied for if I had better options. Surprisingly, I like it a lot and it gives me exactly what I've been longing for: time and enough money to travel. I work in England but live in Granada, Spain. So between working and traveling at the end I only spend like 4 month per year in Granada. But while I'm there I will be available for anything you need: hosting, meeting up, showing you around...
