I would say that Madrid is really safe. Of course you have to be careful with your things, especially in the center of the city (pickpockets). It’s not strange to being cat called, and you have to be a bit careful about men in general (especially tourists/drunk men I would say imo). When it’s already dark and there’s no one in the street it’s when you will feel more “fear”. But in the daylight you will feel very safe I think. Hope this helps!

My city is quite safe. You only need to worry about robberies in the summer because there are more tourists, but in general, it is a good place to live. I know my city; I've never had a problem. There are always police on the streets.
Posted: February 21, 2025Barcelona City is actually not very safe. It's really important to be careful with your belongings and also not to walk alone in the center during the night. Overall, i wouldn't say it is super unsafe, but precaution is really needed. At the end, there is a lot of sexual arrasment reports.
Posted: February 20, 2025It's a normal city, there are more robbers in barcelona. Here it's more quiet. I suppose that like everywhere else (maybe not in Japan) it can happen that somebody try to graph your phone or so, but never happened to me and it's not usual
Posted: February 20, 2025It's a pretty safe area with a lot of family and tourists, local are really nice and the security is kind of hight with a lot of police man but be careful about the women with rosemary near the tourist activities they will try to scam you so don't take the rosemary !

This is a calm, quiet city near Barcelona. Everyone who was looking for peace from the noisy city came here. In six months of living here, I walked at night and never really worried that my things would be stolen like in Barcelona. People here are quiet and mostly elderly or family Catalans

Depending on the neighborhood you walk into but if you stay in the cool zones nothing is going to happen. Don’t go to “El Raval”. There are shootings and robberies every day. Stay in Gràcia, Clot or Corts.

Valladolid is a calm and nice city in the centre of Spain. You can do normal life without problems taking general precautions. Besides, in general terms is super safe for you and your belongings, also at night.

It is a very safe place. It's true that depending on who you are and what you've been taught, you may feel more or less secure in certain places, but the reality is that you don't have to worry in Alcudia. It's quite a peaceful place, and if you're not a problematic person, it's hard to find yourself involved in one. Insecurity exists because there are crazy people everywhere.

Safety: Málaga is generally very safe for tourists, with low crime rates. Things to do: Must-visit: The Alcazaba, Picasso Museum, and the Cathedral. Food: Try: Espetos (grilled sardines), Jamón Ibérico, and fried fish. Restaurants: El Pimpi (famous for tapas), and Restaurante José Carlos García (Michelin-starred). Budget: A moderate budget works well here. Daily expenses can range from €40-€80 depending on the activities and meals. Accommodation: I stayed in the city center, near Plaza de la Constitución. Getting around: The city has great public transport (buses, metro). Walking is also easy as most attractions are close together. Sample itinerary: Day 1: Alcazaba, Roman Theatre, Picasso Museum. Day 2: Beach day (La Malagueta), stroll in the old town, dinner at El Pimpi.
Posted: February 18, 2025I gelt really safe there. It was sooo interesting to go around. The people are so nice and welcoming. You should travel to Toledo which is nearly 1 hour away from madrid. The food is so good. It is also a must to visit a flamenco show.
