I would say is a safe city!! Be careful at tourists places as the main square (Plaza españa) and public transport. I have seen some pickpockets on the street, that usually work with an scooter and take phones, mostly to tourist

Very safe Spanish city, very good energy, ideal for traveling and meeting people, walking the streets at any time, dressing as you like, touring the island by public transport without any fear.
Posted: December 24, 2024Palma is very safe for everyone. I’ve been walking around by myself since I’m a kid and nothing bad as ever happened to me. As a female you can walk around with no worries, even at night. Just be careful at night when you go to the club with your belongings, that’s it

Palma is full of cctv and local people are super reliable In summer you need to pay attention to people who come to the island to rob tourists and can be a little too drunk My flat is in a trendy neighborhood but it is super safe I go out often late

I’ve been to Palma loads of times, and honestly, it never disappoints. This time I went with my kids, and we had such a great time! We stayed in a lovely all-inclusive hotel just 10 minutes from the airport, and the whole trip only cost £400 in total – such a bargain. Palma is great whether you’re going as a couple, solo, or with family. It’s really cheap most of the year from the UK, and you don’t need a big budget at all. There’s so much to do – beaches, hikes, nightlife, and just chilling out. I felt completely safe even when I was out and about with the kids on my own. Taxis are easy to get and not too expensive, and the buses take contactless and Apple Pay, which is super handy. Food-wise, there’s loads of choice – from fast food if you’ve got fussy eaters, to proper local restaurants if you fancy trying something new. Honestly, I’d 100% recommend Palma. It’s affordable, fun, and perfect for all kinds of trips.
