A beautiful and peaceful city, but like anywhere else, you need to take precautions, especially if you're alone and it's nighttime, just for safety. It has a lot of history and many places to visit. You can have a coffee on one of its terraces or watch the sunset on the Guadalquivir River.

It depends on the area of course, but I have never been catcalled or harassed in the street. I enjoy going on nightly walks alone and have never felt unsafe. I live in a residential area in the city but even walking into the center at night there is always a lot of people around and I have never felt unsafe.
Posted: January 20, 2025Sevilla is a very safe city. Just stay away from the ghettos, and everything is going to be okay. Plus, it is very difficult for tourists to get there. Moreover, Sevilla is a very crowded city at night, so if anything happens to you, you just need to shout.
Posted: January 14, 2025Well, it depends on the area. But there are very nice and pleasant people you will meet. You also need to know which places to go to or not, depending on the people that are actually on the street. But it's very beautiful.
Posted: January 3, 2025Seville is a safe place, where everyone is always helpful and ready to help. Transport and walking on the streets is safe and locals help you always with your needs and questions. I feel really safe in the city
Posted: January 1, 2025Seville is a pretty safe place. There are dangerous places like La Macarena, Los pajaritos, las 3000 viviendas. You should avoid those places if possible. Also Alameda at night can be dangerous cause there's drunk men and some don't have good intentions. If you are two girls or a girl that's not dressing too noticeable you might be fine. But I would be a little careful.
Posted: December 30, 2024seville is faily safe, specially around the city centre. just need to be on the lookout at night and don’t walk about sketchy neighbourhoods. public transport is quite safe too, but might want to take an uber at night.

Seville is a city with a lot of street life and this is why you can feel safe on the street, because there will always be people! The center is a safe place, although you always have to be careful with pickpockets by taking care of your backpacks and bags. In the outskirts there is usually less movement, but even so I have always felt safe in this city and I usually return home alone with my bicycle every night I go out.

Seville is quite safe bearing in mind you don't wear gold jewelry, costly smartphones, and do not sit leaving the camera or mobile on the table, because someone may steal It. Be careful not to carry bags which can be easily opened. Pickpocket are around at the tourist areas. Some of the pickpocket are tourists themselves. Hide your money closed to you body. I usually pay everything with Google pay, so I don't carry cash.
Posted: August 18, 2024Anything happened to me. just my phone was stolen in a party with many people on the street. You can take the bus or to walk in the street in the night. Just be careful don't rent in problematic squares

I don’t think I ever have felt this safe in a big city. Not one single comment or look from other people, although I have not been out anything in the night. There is much to do and organizations who helps you with meeting new people and seeing the whole city!
Posted: January 30, 2025Seville is a great beautiful city full of old architecture, streets, green blooming parks, with singing birds 🦚🦜swans 🦢 , little turtles 🐢. Really I don’t remember much of the names of the famous places. Anyway you’ll like it all I dare. So I just enjoyed the surface, the Spanish 🇪🇸 vibe, Looking around and soaking all in with my favorite food 🥘 paella’s, drinking sangria the only thing that make you cooling in a hot 🔥 siesta time in summer. Sevilla is very hot, but as I told there’s a lot of parks to hide in a shade, of bars are always opened in a hottest hours. Something to see in Seville my recommendation is of course — flamenco 💃🏼. Hot charming passionate Spanish national dance. And just look 👀 around the city
