seville is faily safe, specially around the city centre. just need to be on the lookout at night and don’t walk about sketchy neighbourhoods. public transport is quite safe too, but might want to take an uber at night.

Seville is a city with a lot of street life and this is why you can feel safe on the street, because there will always be people! The center is a safe place, although you always have to be careful with pickpockets by taking care of your backpacks and bags. In the outskirts there is usually less movement, but even so I have always felt safe in this city and I usually return home alone with my bicycle every night I go out.

Seville is quite safe bearing in mind you don't wear gold jewelry, costly smartphones, and do not sit leaving the camera or mobile on the table, because someone may steal It. Be careful not to carry bags which can be easily opened. Pickpocket are around at the tourist areas. Some of the pickpocket are tourists themselves. Hide your money closed to you body. I usually pay everything with Google pay, so I don't carry cash.
Posted: August 18, 2024Anything happened to me. just my phone was stolen in a party with many people on the street. You can take the bus or to walk in the street in the night. Just be careful don't rent in problematic squares
Posted: August 18, 2024Overall I have never felt unsafe as a solo woman in Seville. There have been increased warnings about unwanted touching in nightclubs for example, especially in gay clubs. I have never experienced this so cannot speak from experience. I always walk home alone and have not felt unsafe in that manner. There can be unwanted stares and comments quite frequently however.

Sevilla IS a great place to visit if you're passioned about History , specially the andalousian History. I rented a room in a beautiful house on Airbnb, the hosts were very kind and we could exchange even if we don't speak the same langage. I recommand it as town that you should visit while doing a road trip in the south of spain
Posted: October 6, 2024You’ve gotta have some fresh orange juice if it’s in season! I went for three days which were easy to fill, if I went again I would try to time my mealtimes better to align with theirs. Perfect place for a solo trip, had an amazing time, wish I dressed as well as the locals though.
